Le bebe is home today. He was utterly bushed, beyond the normal level I'd expect for a late night last night, and since he's sick I decided to let him sleep and either swing home and bring him to school after my dentist appointment, have my mom bring him in or just let him stay home. Have you looked into physical therapy for his knees? To strengthen the muscle around the joints while he's developing?

No, not yet, but it's definitely a good idea to keep in mind. Since it's inflammatory rather than the bones at the moment we haven't brought him to an orthopod yet. I haven't looked to see what appropriate treatments are - you can't ever get the same answer twice for anything Lyme associated. :(

The last episode took about a week of round the clock anti-inflammatory, so we probably still have a few more days to go before it's time to worry.

The recent assessment from his teachers (which I'll coo about in an annoying smitten maternal way if I ever figure out where I put it) wrapped up that he's cheerful, curious and kind. As a mother I could never hope for higher praise. :)

aww poor guy. Have you had any luck finding a specialist to help?

I am glad that the birthday was a huge success. It is super cool that his school makes such a big deal over it. Just one more sign of how super cool his school is.
