Shatner's World - We Just Live In It - A Review

Wow, thank you for the review. I did not think much of him until he put out that album a few years ago which was witty, ironic and self-deprecating. Also warm. I hope I get to see his show at some point.

I'm not big on Shatner either - still think he's an arse. However, I will second your comments here on his show being riveting. I believe he tried out some of this material last summer at the Trek 45th anniversary and he had the audience in the palm of his hand.

Okay, these were all freakishly devoted Trek fans but I think we all mostly think he's an arse so it balances out!

The Flea is a small theatre off-off Broadway in Tribeca. It has two auditoriums - one in the basement that seats 40 people where they do weekly serials and very small productions, and one on the ground floor that seats 74 people. It has a resident acting company and a director apprentice program. Jim Simpson is the artistic director. He's Sigoruney Weaver's husband, which is how the whole thing came together at the original reading of the play.
