I'm stunned that no one has done a thoughts and prayers song. It's about the most cringeworthy phrase in the English language. In other words, doooooo eeeeet!

And Martin Carthy as #2 guitar tutor this year. I'm having a hard time with that because I really wanted to do the vocal workshops with Sloan Wainwright and the songwriting workshops with Jill Sobule. Tough choices to make but a good problem to have.

yes indeed. if you haven't seen Martin Carthy for awhile then good to catch something of him. but i suspect your original choices will be more beneficial for you

I'll get a better sense of what Martin's teaching once camp starts, though I should check out his work between now and then. Happy Traum is also doing finger style blues workshops. I may just have to go back next year :-)

It'll be interesting to see whether Cropredy survives the demise of the originals, and if so what form it takes. I can see that if the cricket club is dependent on the income they'd an interest in keeping something going...
