Sounds like it's going to be hellacious for a while. I hate people who can't just own up and say "You know, I admit I was stupid and made a mistake." Of course, if they were mature enough to do that, then they usually wouldn't be nearly as stupid enough to do things like try to run red lights in the first place.

And it's exactly this inability to accept responsibility for anything that insurance and lawyers are required in the first place. Le sigh, human nature.
