Does anyone here have some weapons expertise they wouldn't mind sharing? Preferably something small that I wouldn't be arrested for carrying, but I'm open to suggestions.

I'm a decent unarmed fighter, though without formal training, and pretty strong.

I'm not much of a fighter, but I can probably give you a weapon or two from work once you've got a teacher.

Financial Adviser for Kane Industries. They make almost everything here, so a weapon wouldn't be hard to get ahold of.

What kinds of weapons does Mildmay use?

I don't see an overwhelming number of offers. And to be honest, I'd much rather learn knife fighting than what my brother or his friends could've taught me if I were home. [muttered] Not to mention Kazuma'd never've let me hear the end of it if I asked him; he still calls me stronger than he is, but it's only true in a casual fistfight.

I don't mind fighting, but I never saw the need for using any powers I have as a weapon. I'd prefer not muddling through turning them into one.

I'm not much of a fighter either, but you could always go with the time-tested tasers and pepper sprays, if you're looking for something for protection.

I can protect myself well enough from the average person without resorting to those. It's if the other person is armed or trained in martial arts, or if I meet a stronger one of the things that are in this city, that I've got a problem.

Be careful of the creatures out there, especially if you look for any of the shards. They seem to like those.

Carry a small hand-gun then? You could always get training at one of those gun training centers. Though I'm just pulling the first thing that come off the top of my head, so my advice may not be that good.

Yeah, I ain't shard hunting. I'll pass along info, to the actual shard hunters if I get any, but personally I'm staying away from this.

If no better options came along, I'd consider that.

The shards are nasty things. I'd stay away from them, but since I've got a big advantage over most people in finding them, I shouldn't.
