[locked from Edgeworth]

...Um, would anyone going to the surpise party for Edgeworth mind dropping off a gift?

I don't really think I should go, but...

(( For the record, the gift is the first two books of Elizabeth George's Inspector Lynley series [A Great Deliverance and Payment in Blood]. He figured Edgey would like mysteries, and these seem to be well thought of.

Why don't you think you should go?

...We're still not on the best terms.

It would just be awkward.

David.

It would seem XANA realized I had - have, I hope? - a friend and ally in you. There was a firewall up that I hadn't even noticed until I ran a complete scan... it feels like it's been forever, how are you?

Jeremie!

I've been fine, are you alright? How much has XANA been doing?

Hi!

I'm as well as can be expected, I guess. Would you believe its last attack involved a military satellite armed with a laser cannon being aimed at my school? We managed to stop it in time, and the return to the past fixed everything, but... well. They do say it's always darkest just before dawn, right?

((Because canon is butchered, XANA FIRIN HIS LAZERS got bumped to between season two and three, now. XD))

...Why was there a military satellite with a laser canon available in the first place?

Yeah, they do.
