Yay! A very nice, solid, honest review! I'm glad to know you're not totally blinded by fangirlish glee and screaming out, "OMFG BEST GAME EVER 10 OUT OF FUCKING 10!!11!!!!!1!##!!"

*coughs*

Anyway, yeah, I've never played this game (and probably never will--LOL), but from watching the game on YouTube, I'd say your review is well thought-out, and is pretty much on the level with what I was thinking in terms of what I've actually seen.

I'm with you on the whole movie thing, too. Seriously, Capcom, you guys may like the movies, but around 90% of RE game fans DO NOT. There was nothing cool about that ridiculous laser scene (nice work randomly putting that laser scene into RE4, too--you'd better be glad Leon is cool enough to make the shit look good) and The Red Queen? SERIOUSLY?!

The day Alice shows up in a game is the day I hang myself in my bathroom with dental floss. x.xDude, if that happens, I will take out the Capcom Offices just like Claire took out the Paris Facility ( ... )

Oh I agree totally!

Yeah, I was a bit confused why Barry was MIA too, same with Claire.

Also, I was kinda hoping for some Chris/Jill vs Wesker confrontation in the Russian base scenario, but nope, nada zip...Resident Evil 5 maybe?

I think you're review is pretty spot on. It's definietely a fun game with replay value and as a Resident Evil fan I'm very pleased, but not blinded to the game's flaws.

EXACTLY lolz. Yeah, it's like "Great game, not the best in the series, but definitely worth the money I spent for it."

And omg I couldn't agree with you more on the Wesker/Chris/Jill confrontation I was hoping for x.x!!! But oh wells, yes, RE5! hehe xD Cest la vi! ^_^

But yeah, some Barry action, or Claire action woulda been nice x.x hehe

I think they may be planning to remake the second game though, so yeah, yay! (if so) ^_^

That's not crude. That's justice. Fuck her AND Anderson with said violation devices, only for Anderson's sodomization, make sure it's a big, green nasty cactus.

Wow, this is probably the most informative review I've read about this game..Well, since I learned of it's existence...Which is saying something. Usually I save that honor for Game Informer Magazine ^.^'

All in all it sounds like a game I'll be happy with. I, for one, rather like the Wii's handling (on...most...games) system and I always thought it'd be well suited for a Resident Evil game. However part of your post on the controls made me think of the system in Resident Evil: Dead Aim. Another RE Rail game, only this one used the controller pad on the back of the GunCom2. The weapons were in a straight up and down list and usually the weapons that you most used were on opposite ends of the list. And with the gamepad on that you often accidentally go off to the side and have a hard time getting back.

Although I think I'll wait until the price drops. I've YET to dish out fifty dollars for a game, no matter how much I love the series it's in.
But thank you VERY much for posting such a good review on the game :D
