It's the last week of the quarter and instead of being a responsible student I've chosen to navigate the perilous waters of Avengers fandom and I'll just say it, some characterization trends just fucking baffle me. This is not to say I haven't been bookmarking the shit out of fic and/or getting my kudos on over at the Ao3. I am and I have. But

I feel like his wisecracking, quietly going about his business of giving zero fucks awesomeness is just not being utilized properly. He reminds me of a mix between Pike and Eddie Fyers, which means I find him irresistible.

He's a spook who wrangles superheros and acts as the right hand man in a morally ambiguous shadow organization that thwarts evil with *assassins*. He threatened to tazer Tony and watch Supernanny. My love is pure.

I am working on a story where Darcy decides Phil misses his dog too much, so she wants to get him a puppy.

Also, Boosette is writing a story where Darcy and Coulson go on a cross-country road trip.

And I still need to write that Phil/Natasha story that lives in the back of my head.

ETA: Also, here are my bookmarks, which seem to be suspiciously missing the insane coffee shop AU of my HEART, which I will be adding as soon as I can find it again.
