I haven't posted in forever. Life is so draining lately. I feel like I don't enjoy things anymore. I try to remember why I'm here and why I'm doing the things I am.

I love my fiance and I love my dog, but I'm run down.

My wedding isn't going to be for a long time but I can't help but stress. I don't even know where to begin or where this money is going to come from. Lord knows I don't have any money. I get up in the morning and end up googling wedding stuff and get bogged down with all the possibilities.

Work sucks, life is stressful but I'm happy.

I'm getting married :)

I'm laying in bed under the covers. Joel just came home and is now asleep on top of the covers with his head on my chest. Our dog is on the other side of me, on top of the covers asleep. I'm hungry and I can't get out of my bed :(

Waking up is becoming one of my favorite things. I'm so lucky. Waking up and being able to see Joel everyday is really special. Moving to California was definitely the right decision ( Read more... )

So my life as a homemaker is over soon. I had two job interviews today. An assistant manager position at a children's store is seemingly in the bag. Back to working women, it's ok I need the money. I miss my friends.

I'm bringing Joel to my parent's house tomorrow.

Kamehameha schools are in the news right now. They are private schools established after the death of the last descendent of Kamehameha the Great. Basically the will stated that with private funding it would be a school for Native Hawaiians. Now people are suing the school for not admitting non-Hawaiian students. Shit like this makes me so mad. I bake a few times a week. I make almost everything from scratch, even bread. I cook dinner almost every night. I make my bed every morning. I taught my boyfriend to iron clothes last night.
