oh no not your grandmother. :( i'm glad you're getting to go out there and see her at least soon. i am sure seeing you will make her a little brighter. that's sad about your uncle too, i want to give you all huge and everlasting hugs right now ;~;

I'm hoping that seeing her will bring a little spark back... I just feel super awful. I've been so overwhelmingly busy with the semester that I haven't written to her since January. Even though I don't normally get time to myself (excluding this last week) I feel like it's not an excuse and I should have put more effort forth. But I'm calling her in about an hour? So maybe that will brighten her night up a little.

*super big hugs to you* Yeah, when I read my uncle's e-mail I felt so, so sad. I wish he lived closer so I could be there for him more, too. It's hard enough when good friends live so far away, but all the way across the ocean with a language barrier is even worse.
