There's always a better ISP out there. Sometimes you don't even have to look, something better will just come along. Even one of those lame free ones will do, if your parents don't use the Internet all that much.

I'll second that. Although I dunno if Telewest operate in that area (I think they have NTL, who're almost as big a fuckstick as BT in a lot of respects, I think (?))
