Summary: He can’t stop the shivering.
Heechul shivered. He hugged himself in the hopes of warming himself up.
Tears silently fell down his face as he stumbled forward. He didn’t care where he walked, just that he kept walking. He could barely see anything, just darkness all around him. He had lost all sense of everything except this cold invading his body.
Heechul shivered again. He rubbed his arms, hoping the friction would give him the warmth he needed.
His toe hit a rock, causing him to stumble. He righted himself and continued walking.
His toe hit another rock. He almost fell but caught himself.
When he hit another rock, he let himself fall, too tired to care anymore. Rocks dug into his knees and legs, his palms got scratched up.
Tears continued to fall as Heechul lay on the ground. He didn’t care what happened to him anymore. There was nothing left.
He curled up into himself as his body shivered again.
He looked up at the sky and saw dark clouds gathering above. He gave a small smile as the sky opened up and rain began to pour down on him.
Heechul stretched out his body and let the rain fall. His smile widened as the rain washed away everything, his thoughts, his worries, himself.
