Title: Glow (side story to Aliens)
Pairing: Donghae/Kibum, a little Eunhae

Theme: 020. Glow Donghae/Kibum
Summary: Donghae thinks Ryeowook's been possessed by aliens.
“Hey Kibum, do you see that weird glow around Ryeowook?” Kibum glanced at Ryeowook.
“What are you talking about Donghae? There’s no glow.”
“Yes there is. Some bright green glow *gasp*” Kibum rolled his eyes.
“What is it now?”
“Ryeowook has been possessed by aliens.”
“Are you crazy? How could Ryeowook, the eternal magnae, be possessed by aliens?”
“I don’t know but it’s true. He’s acting different.”
“So?”
“I heard him talking to someone named Kyuhyun but when I checked inside the room, no one was there.”
“Maybe he was on the phone?”
“There was no phone. He’d left it in the kitchen earlier.”
“Okay…”
“And there’s a bright green glow around him.”
Kibum sighed. “You’re just imagining things, Donghae.”
“No I’m not. I’ll prove it.” Donghae went around to all the other members and asked them if they saw a bright green glow around Ryeowook. They all shook their heads and looked at Donghae with pity. They came over to Kibum.
“What’s going on?”
“Donghae thinks Ryeowook is possessed by aliens.”
“He is.”
“No, he isn’t.”
“Are you okay, Donghae?” Leeteuk looked at Donghae with concern. “Are you not sleeping enough?”
“I’m fine. Why won’t you believe me?” Tears were forming in Donghae’s eyes. Leeteuk went over to hug and comfort him.
“Well, no one else can see this bright green glow around him. There’s nothing different about Ryeowook. You’re just letting your imagination get to you. Get real, there’s no such things as aliens.”
Donghae crossed his arms and pouted. “Hmph, you’ll be sorry when it turns out I’m right. All of you.” Donghae ran into his room, slamming the door. Eunhyuk ran after Donghae. Everyone looked at Kibum.
“What? I didn’t do anything.”
“Yeah right. Why’d you have to say that?”
“What? It’s the truth.”
“You didn’t have to sound so mean.”
“Aish, whatever. I’m going out.” Kibum stormed out of the dorm

Kibum came back to the dorm. He had a brilliant idea. He went straight to Donghae’s room. Donghae was cuddling with Eunhyuk on the bed.
“Hyung…hyung…” Kibum gently shook his shoulder.
“Huh? What?” Donghae got up and spotted Kibum. A frown crossed his face. “What do you want?”
“I’m sorry for earlier. And I wanted to make it up to you.”
Donghae lit up, a giant smile on his face. “Really?”
“Yeah. I was thinking…a kind of bet.”
“What kind of bet?”
“If what you say is true, I’ll buy you 20 kg of candy. But if you’re wrong, you have to go a day without Eunhyuk or sugar.”
Donghae glanced at Eunhyuk and the small pile of candy on his desk. He looked back at Kibum. He had a smug smile on his face.
“Fine, deal.”
“Good.” He left, closing the door. Donghae laid back down next to Eunhyuk.
“What are you going to do, Fishy?”
“I’m going to prove him wrong. Help me?” Donghae gave Eunhyuk his best puppy eyes, the ones he knew Eunhyuk could never resist.
“Fine, alright.”
“Yay!” He kissed Eunhyuk and fell asleep.

“Ryeowook-ah, can I talk to you for a moment?”
“Can it wait, hyung?” Ryeowook seemed to be fidgeting which was odd.
“No. Did something happen to you a few nights ago?”
“Not that I can remember.”
“Hmm…interesting…”
“Is that all, hyung? I have something important to do.”
“Alright.” Donghae watched Ryeowook walk away before running to get Eunhyuk.

“The coast is clear.” Donghae nodded at Eunhyuk before sneaking into Yesung and Ryeowook’s room. He was searching for anything unusual. He carefully looked through the closet, the desk, the bookshelf, making sure nothing was out of place.
“Find anything?”
“Nope.” Donghae pouted. “I was sure I was - oof.” Donghae looked at what he tripped over and smiled. He quickly grabbed it and went back to his room.

Donghae came skipping out of his room and spotted Ryeowook and Yesung sitting on the couch together. The others were gathered around them.
“What’s going on?”
“These two are finally going out after god knows how long.”
“Congratulations. How’d it happen?”
Ryeowook blushed. “Uh…well…I had help from a friend.”
“What kind of friend? Maybe a little tiny alien?” Everyone just stared at Donghae wondering what kind of nonsense he was talking about. Ryeowook looked up in shock.
“How did you know?”
“WHAT?” Everyone turned to look at Ryeowook who turned a bright red. He hid his face in Yesung’s shoulder.
“AH HA!!! SEE? I KNEW IT!!! THERE ARE ALIENS! I WAS RIGHT!!!!” Donghae ran through the dorm, shouting in joy. “KIBUM!!!! YOU OWE ME 20 KG OF CANDY!!!! By the way, I found his little spaceship. It’s in my room if you want it.” Donghae went back to running around the dorm. Leeteuk was trying to get him to calm down with the help of Kangin. Eunhyuk just watched them. He knew his boyfriend would run out of energy by dinnertime which was in four hours.
“KIBUM, WHAT DID YOU DO?” Heechul went off to find Kibum who had run out of the dorm. “DO YOU KNOW WHAT’S GOING TO HAPPEN ONCE DONGHAE GETS HIS HANDS ON ALL THAT CANDY? KIM KIBUM, YOU ARE SO DEAD!!!!”

“Kyu, how are you going to explain this to them?”
“Just let it be Minnie. It’s not hurting anyone.” Ryeowook came over to Kyuhyun and Sungmin.
“Thanks for the help, Kyuhyun. Oh and I’d want to hide before they realize it was all a joke. Heechul, Leeteuk, and Kibum will be after you. Bye bye.” Ryeowook cutely waved to them before moving back to sit with Yesung.
“KYUHYUN!!!!!”
“Uh oh.” Kyuhyun bolted out the door with Heechul, Kibum, and Leeteuk running after him.
