I'm Not Sure If I'm Fit To Write For Fandom Anymore

Ooooooooh, holy freaking deity! I just got my Sherlock plotbunny that seems vaguely realistic. I'm debating on whether to keep it or banish it, but dialogue is running through my head and I don't think I can remember it all and WHY DON'T I OWN A TAPE RECORDER?????

My comment is the advice I gave myself, which is the advice Steven King gives in his book, On Writing (not that I'm such a huge Steven King fan, but he's certainly prolific and successful): (1) write 1,000 words per day. (2) don't edit (3) silence your inner critic.

Then put it down for a day or so and then edit.

I think you should just dive in with both feet and don't make such hurdles for yourself; I am just confident you will be wonderful in Sherlock and I would love to read something from you.

And thanks for encouraging me along, I'm pretty new to Sherlock as I have confesssed (since March).

Best,
ghislaine
