Am exhausted. Done so much over the past few days. Need a break, but must continue making coasters.

I keep finishing things too early at work. We have to be productive all the time, but I just get through the material so much faster. The computer systems are a breeze. I've read the entire policies and procedure manual twice so far in the time in ( Read more... )

Give yourself the gift of self-pacing:>

If you're quite certain that it takes you a finite time for autopilot tasks- Use the time as the gift of decompression so to speak..

Which means in my self-evaluation that I've got time to recheck myself for ways of getting better at whatever I am doing or just closer to effortless joy. There's a stupidly wrong perception forced on us that we're not supposed to enjoy "work" that we get paid for.

I hope you're able to be financially comfy and enjoy the job too.

If you're truly getting bored at work, and it's not one of those places that will let you surf the 'net in your free time, try outlining the steps you've taken to your supervisor and ask if there's anything more for you to learn. They should appreciate your ambition, and it will be the sort of thing that gets remembered come performance evaluations.
