ICU HARRY ~ BEING EMO IN THE CHAPTER ART!

"I want the sword. The Sword of Godric Gryffindor." Oh noes.

"That sword was Ragnuk the First's, tkaen from him by Godric Gryffindor..." Somebody should tell these Goblins about the oldest and most noble tradition of 'FINDERS KEEPERS'.

"Brilliant. I'll go and get one of our other ancient goblin-made swords and you can gift wrap it." LOL RON.

I kind of really love Fluer. Especially during the conversation she had with Harry in the kitchen and when she was all worried about Bill when he left with Ollivander.

Oh and I really hate the way Hermione acts toward Luna. She might view Luna as a friend but she certainly doesn't respect Luna as an equal. When she was talking to Dean about the Crumple-Horned Snorkack thing and Hermione HAD to call over her to tell her that it wasn't - what a condesending bitch! Why can't she just shut the fuck up and let Luna believe whatever she pleases? That just really made me want to punch her in the goddamn face. D:"Yes, he's trying to re-create the lost diadem ( ... )

"He seemed set on course to become just as reckless a godfather to Teddy Lupin as Sirius Black had been to him." That was just so... I hope he hasn't been quite as reckless, later when all has settled. I got a strong feeling of Sirius telling how he'd nearly lived at the Potters when he and James were still at school and stuff when teddy re-appears in the epilogue...

And Lupin coming, this time it was all awful... I miss him so much!<3

lol.. I knew the moment that Voldemort told the Malfoy's that Tonks and Lupin were married that they'd both be gonners.

Reading this the second time, Lupin showing up and telling everyone about Teddy is really bittersweet. The first time around I was like, "Yay baby!" and the second time I was like "OH NOES, ORPHAN!!"

And since I cried throughout the entire book apparently, Lupin asking Harry to be godfather make me squirt out a few ;_;

1) Harry is questioning his decision of Horcruxes vs. Hallows. He acted almost instinctively in the last chapter, knowing that it was right not to pursue the wand and feeling at peace that he had done what Dumbledore wanted. Now he isn’t sure. Ron voices the doubts that Harry struggles with internally. Harry is angry at Dumbledore again.

2) The trio knows they are getting help from somewhere and think that maybe Dumbledore isn’t dead. But Jo said he was dead and is staying dead, so we have to discard this possibility. Though I still somehow thought on my first read that maybe Dumbledore could have had the mirror beyond the veil and used his portrait at Hogwarts to send Dobby to rescue them.

3) Griphook’s request for the Sword of Gryffindor presents an ethical dilemma. Ron doesn’t seem to have much in the way of moral compunction, does he? First he proposes that they swap the swords and give Griphook the fake one (as if Griphook vould be fooled) and then he’s the only one enthusiastic about Harry’s proposed solution. [ ( ... )

4) yeah but the ministry went wrong because harry spontaneously decided to take moody's eye and save 12 people, not a lack of preparedness.
6) it'd be nice if bill hadn't waited for after weeks of seeing them planning with griphook to give tell harry not to mess with goblins.

ron's eagerness to be so sheisty bothers me a little.

4. Yes, Harry mucked up the Ministry break-in. But there were other parts of the Ministry plan that seemed not very well thought-out to me. Like impersonating random people without knowing anything about them (other than names and job titles for 2 of them). The plan is for them to stick together (though they abandon that anyway) and they don't even think of disguising themselves as 3 people who won't look out of place together ... They go around shouting each other's real names ... Anyway, maybe by now they've learned a few things.

12."IS TONKS DEAD?! REALLY?!" No, you're not dreadful, you just don't wanna see Remus suffering with her. I mean, hello! Though who am I to talk, I'm a biased puppylove shipper.

18. So brilliant. And I think he made for the best godfather ever. And Remus forgave him for everything, which was sweet.<3

8) Teddy Remus Lupin enters the world. When Lupin “fell over the threshold”, white-faced, I was sure at first that something bad had happened. Lupin is happy, for I think the first time in this book and he looks years younger. I also noticed that he is calling Tonks “Dora” (though he refers to her as Tonks again on the next page). This may have no significance whatsoever, but “Dora” just sounds a little more endearing to me. Looks like Teddy is definitely a metamorphmagus. I wonder if they can tell yet if he has any werewolf characteristics.

9) The happy news has taken them briefly out of their siege mentality. I was so afraid, though, that in the midst of their celebration, while they were all a bit tipsy, something bad was going to happen. Griphook doesn’t share in their festivities and slinks away. I have a bad feeling about him.

10) Harry is named as godfather. All seems to be forgiven and mended between Harry and Lupin.

11) Bill warns Harry to be careful in his dealings with Griphook. Yes, Bill should know; he ( ... )
