What an eerie, foreboding chapter title... randomneses August 25 2007, 22:02:36 UTC
1) Random Muggle Londoner: Look, mummy! A dragon!
Random Muggle Londoner's Mummy: Don't be silly dear there is no such thing as---OH MY GOD A DRAGON!
Ron: FUCKING BLOODY SHITTING HELL. FUCK. FUUUUUUUUUCK.

FUCK.

2) I love how Harry is so chill on he dragon compared to the others XD BUT IS TILL WISH IT WAS NORBERTA

3) "What do you reckon it's looking for?" Ron yelled as they flew farther and farther north.
"ARE YOU SERIOUS? ASK HERMIONE. SHE HAS ALL THE ANSWERS IN THIS DAMN BOOK, RON!"

4) Why do I feel like Harry can't swim? Weird.

5) I hate being wet and dirty in water so I was cringing through a good deal of this chapter. And Harry was probably wearing jeans. UGH, really uncomfortable.

6) Wow, Harry managed to keep Hufflepuff's sippy cup (can't take credit for that name but it describes it perfectly. WHY IS IT SO SMALL?!). These lot keep up with everything in this book.

7) "At least we can't wear it this time, that'd look a bit weird hanging round our necks," said Ron, wiping his mouth on the back of his hand.

DON'T ( ... )

4) Book 4, second of the tasks (saving Ron from the Merpeople): Harry thinks something along the lines of how he's a pretty bad swimmer because the Dursleys didn't bother too much with him, didn't take him along and the like. I think. (Shoot me, I'm such a nerd.)

4) He's not a very strong swimmer. It was mentioned during the second task in GoF and when he and Dumbledore had to swim to get to the cave in HBP.

it kind of bugged me that they had hermione crying on the dragon. i know it's established that she's a really emotional person, but i think jo was overdoing it here.

also, i don't understand why she didn't pack any food after all they'd been through, but it's not really the most important detail here.

yeah, i'll just second almost everyone else's comments since i don't have tons to add here.

It's also been established that she is terrified of flying, so that's probably a contributing factor here.

yeah but if it was to the point that it made her cry would she have volunteered to help harry get out of his house at the start? that seems a little extreme.

The image of Lucius and Bellatrix basically pushing people aside to get out was LOL. Voldemort was such an arrogant bastard though. Hogwarts was probably the FIRST place to look for a horcrux.

Riding a dragon; that's awesome.

Oh Ron, I'll add to the "ILURON"'s in here, ♥

Harrys is so awesome.

Hogwarts, yes, but he doesn't seem to think anyone knows about the Hidden Things version of the RoR, despite the fact that *Draco used it last year to get Death Eaters into Hogwarts*.

the beginning of the end! book's almost over :(
what will we do after? i have to say, i really like reading the posts for the older books, i wish i'd known about this community before, you guys are great.

-the dragon ride was so cool. i'm glad it wasn't norber(a), it sounded like the dragon had been treated pretty badly. HAGGER WOULD NOT APPROVE.
-voldie's killing spree - i hope the large blonde death eater survived! (i don't remember if he is at hogwarts in the later chapters).
-a bit of calm before the storm watching the dragon fly away before going to hogsmeade. this scene will be beautiful in the movie (if it's anything like the previous ones, we will probably get an *artsy* extended flight scene...should be good.)

I don't know about anyone else, but I plan to start having a life again and planning a wedding once this reading is over. :p And I've got a huge stack of fanfics that I really want to finish.

I feel the same way. I wish I was able to reread the series with the community but I had college and graduation to deal with. Once we're done reading, I don't know what to do either :( It's like I have to deal with the end of HP all over again.

"Well, I don't know how to break this to you," said Ron, "but I think they might have noticed we broke into Gringotts."
:DDD Ftw.

"Get in under the Cloak, Hermione, I want to stick together this time."
I really do love that it's not just Harry charging off on his own here. ♥ He specifically makes a point of keeping them with him. Ah, Triolove. ♥♥
