Perhaps at some later date, then? ;o) As long as it's before the next Hobbit Day it counts in my eyes. *g* I can't record anything before tomorrow myself, as I need to save my voice for the performance, and tomorrow we're away all day. But I'll try in the evening, or next week.

I had no idea that voice recording no longer works on LJ. :(

Sadly, yes. I think I mentioned this before in one of the last posts, although you might have well been missing it with being recently so busy! *hugs* I'm looking into alternatives and will offer any help I can give to continue making this work. If you've got a smartphone or tablet, it's possible as soon as you find an app which creates mp3 files or files that can be converted into mp3. It's also not too difficult on the computer, even with an inexpensive set of headphones and mic you get better results than with the LJ voice posts, and there's good, free, software to use which is not too difficult to set up. I've got such a set as it was the cheapest when I wanted desktop headphones to test-listen to my readings, and paid about 10€ - and they came with a mic. I've tried them for recording, and they work well ( ... )
