A couple of short book reviews today. First up, A Murder of Magpies by Judith Flanders.

Ooh, both books sound fascinating! The first title is interesting because we always hear about "a murder of crows," but it never occurred to me that since a magpie is pretty much a crow of a different feather, a lot of magpies would probably be called a "murder" as well. I like the thumbnail description of the plot, too
