The Last of the Random Searches (For Some Time) or The Haves and Have Nots

I'm only doing this two days in a row because I'm still on vacation and the jet lag has me up early.

521.dancingpuppet What do you mean? Cutty Sark is out of business??
522.badbh I like this Thursday Thirteen idea. It's a great journal feature. Journals that have footnotes and hyperlink references always gets my approval. ※

Sexyback was a song by Justin Timberlake. The cartoon is a parody.
Here's the original video:

I do have great friends :)

I have a hard time with most jokes.

I got that one right off the bat :)
It still cracks me up.
I love reading your synopsis of journals, incidentally.

That was one of my more cryptic entries. 15 minutes of eternity was me sleeping for all of fifteen minutes, having an incredibly long dream, and then waking up and not being able to go back to sleep.

Trapped in the closet was referring to R. Kelly's Trapped in the Closet, which is.. amazing. If you haven't seen it, do a search for it on youtube and it should show up.

That there is. There's also a Christopher Street bank, and in Germany there's Christopher Street day. I'm so popular! :)

Oh, I am very familiar with the entire multi-part opera epic that is R. Kelly's Trapped in the Closet. Much too familiar.

Footnotes are always fun :)

I think I'm going to have to further investigate your mission. Seems like a lot of work ;)

I hope you do. It's work, but fun work mostly. I usually do it at downtimes. It's more variable and interactive than crossword puzzles or soduku: it's people.

I just did ten random searches, and came up with nautgrok three times. Who is this nautgrok person sleeping with?

I'm adding this journal, but don't take that as me begging to be read. My journal's dull and can wait until at least 2013, surely. I wish I'd thought of this project idea before you did (or rather, I wish I'd acted on my impulse to review random journals a few years ago), but I'm more than happy to sit back and let you tell me which journals are of interest and which aren't. :)

nautgrok is Donovan to my Bob Dylan.

I feel like permutation, more than in the last two Attempts, I've finally hit on the Right Way to Do This. It took three years on and off but I'm happy with the results. Enjoy.

I've always wondered how the random searches work, because they don't seem to have any clear patterns but they're obviously not random. They can't be, not when I've come up with nautgrok about 15 times since yesterday.

By the Right Way, do you mean searching by interest?

No, I mean my general comportment and pacing.
