.......XD AWWWW. Poor Naruto!! That was great; I love how you set up all this detail, and almost-angst, and careful sculpting of setting and plot and then *bang* with the punchline.

Oh good, I was worried that I hadn't framed the punchline properly- I still think I could have given it more oomph somehow, but at least it did the job of making a reader laugh.

It works just fine for me. I think it was timed right. I just never saw Sasuke or Sakura as the kind of people who would want or take the Hokage job, so that sort of surprised me. Not in a bad way, but in an "oh, that's interesting" sort of way.
