Heat Rises - Richard Castle

Hi! Who's read something lately but you don't have time to review it in depth? We'd all still love to know about it, if was great (or to stay away!) so I thought maybe adding a star system and a 'read it if you like...' section might help if you want to keep it brief.

I'll start with a fannish pleasure.

Hello Sezzie. How's your nook? I mean, how's your reading nook? Sorry. Nothing rude there. Nothing unpleasant, offensive, etc.

I enjoyed 'Heat Rises' too and agree with your comment about the books getting better with each instalment. I particularly like how the characters and situations parrot what's happening in the season, with the climactic shooting of a character and the death of the Capt.

Very clever.

I find the cases a bit ho-hum, tbh. It's a nice page-turner and a book you can easily pick up again if you haven't read it for a few days.

GREAT holiday reading. Quick, easy, dramatic, funny, romantic. A bit like me you the show.

I'm reading Game of Thrones. I only have those minutes before sleep atm, so I'm about half way through which is frustrating, but love it muchly.

thanks for your thoughts x

Hello Luvvy!
The Heat books are so fun aren't they. Fanficcy or not, see them as you choose. Plenty of everything!

Before I forget, Richard Castle has just put the PDF of chapter 2 of Frozen heat up.

Thrones is a great read isn't it. I'm about where you are.
Come and do a review when you finish!
