Awww, I love how this could be a scene from the show, without an easy resolution. I just found your work, and I adore it. I love how both the stories I've read so far don't have easy happy endings. With this one, I definitely believe Blaine believes deep down that he's a coward, which could be why he admires Kurt so much. But he has the most incredible game face; he projects such a confident and strong exterior. Nice to know on the inside he's insecure; makes him human. In my head, I imagine lots of Kurt kissing it better time afterwards, though. :)

Thank you so much! ♥ I didn't want an easy resolution because, well, what could they do? Blaine is always going to think this and his acceptance of it allows him to act so confident. I do think the shirt was him reaching out though, he just backed down when things got too much. And yes, lots of Kurt cuddles afterwards.
