Without getting into the ACA itself, I'm floored about the website. There are any number of companies in this country that could create a high-performance/high-complexity website in a year for a hundredth of what we paid for the abortion that is healthcare.gov. Web sites are not rocket science at all. The techniques used by high-performance/high-complexity sites are well understood and freely available on the internet. So why did we pay the company that failed with the Canadian gun registry platform $300+ big ones in a no-bid contract to screw this up this? Huh.
