So in honor of my birthday, we're having a Firefly-themed party next weekend, on the 21st. Costumes aren't required, but they are definitely encouraged. There will be themed snacks, of course, and party games ( Read more... )

I am coming too!

And making chocolate cupcakes with strawberry frosting! With little parasols.

What else were we having? Ice cream planets? Chinese take-out? Wife soup? Cheese fondue? ...those are all the things I remember being mentioned, but I don't remember which things were serious options....

Chinese take-out, definitely.
Ice Planets if we have the time/inclination to make them.
Cheese fondue if you can figure out how to make it work...
Fresh fruit(strawberries especially) & maybe cheese & bread? (I mean, this is one of *our* parties).
