Note to telophase jonquil anyone who has stalled out: Genji seems to be drifting from the center of events, and his possible replacement is a lot more likable.

( In which Yugiri emerges as a strapping and scholarly young lad, Kokiden returns for a cameo appearance, To no Chujo returns as a major character, and Murasaki's father appears to return from the dead, because reports of his death were greatly exaggerated by me when I reported two chapters ago that he had died but clearly that was someone else, and now I have no idea who )

I haven't stalled out, I just can't read about people languishing gracefully and dying in very appropriate ways when I'm inelegantly sick with a cold. =>

Sorry, this isn't so much a comment as a new suggestion, which would have been made in a post were I an lj member and able to post. So I'm not actually sure anyone will see this. But then, I'm not that sure how active this journal is ( ... )

I think that's a great idea. I won't be able to read more than perhaps a kanji or two unless there's furigana, but there's a couple people here who are much better than me.
