Here's a romaji equivalent of the passage for those whom it might help:
Ohom-bin kaki tamahu tote, kyaudai ni yori tamahe ru ni, omo-yase tamahe ru kage no, ware nagara ito ate ni kiyora nare ba, "Koyonau koso, otorohe ni kere! Kono kage no yau ni ya yase te haberu? Ahare naru waza kana!" to notamahe ba, Womna-Gimi, namida hitome uke te, mi-okose tamahe ru, ito sinobi gatasi. "Mi ha kakute sasurahe nu to mo Kimi ga atari saranu kagami no kage ha hanare zi" to, kikoye tamahe ba, "Wakare te mo kage dani tomaru mono nara ba kagami wo mi te mo nagusame te masi" Hasira-gakure ni wi kakure te, namida wo magirahasi tamahe ru sama, "Naho, kokora miru naka ni taguhi nakari keri." to, obosi-sira ruru hito no ohom-arisama nari. Miko ha, ahare naru ohom-monogatari kikoye tamahi te, kururu hodo ni kaheri tamahi nu.
Alright, I was going to do a word-by-word parsing breakdown, but livejournal seems to have some kind of philosophical objection to that, so I'm just going to post my translation and some comments. It's very rough, and as literal as I could make it without being completely incoherant, so that people who don't read the original can get a sense of what it's really like. If anyone has any Qs on how exactly I came by my interpretation, let me know and I can try to find some way to parse the relevant bits on-screen.
