Day 4: Yard, and other things.

So today I got my internet installed *cough cough* and the yard secured for the cats. Which is to say, I think it's secure. Theoretically they don't climb backwards, but they haven't had the idea to try climbing anything yet. The walls were already in place but I had to get mesh things put in. There's nothing in the yard yet except the baby spider

My next adventure will probably be laundry. I have no washing machine yet. There used to be a laundrette one minute from my house but it closed literally last week. Mission!

I know you're entering this new stage of your life and how you see yourself in the world and all but today I checked for updates from you specifically to see if the cats got to go outside and if there were pics.
How is it that Bibi didn't eat the spider plant? My cats go out of their way to nibble mine, bypassing the cat grass I actually grow for them.

She ate them in the old house. My housemate had about 7 and they were huge. I assume she's taking the 'fattening the goose for xmas' approach, sniffing them, encouraging them, and waiting until they grow big and prosperous enough for eating.

I wondered if maybe, after 28 years on this planet during which I've never lived on my own before, I've finally come to a place where I know who I am, I'm almost beginning to sort of like who I am - or at least feel at peace and able to tolerate my own company. Only time will tell if this feeling lasts, but signs at present point to positive.

This makes me happy. I really hope it lasts.
