People like that annoy me. I did AmeriCorps for a year after graduatin high school, and volunteered in a homeless shelter for 6 weeks. We had to wear uniforms, and as it got colder, we'd wear our sweatshirts, which were pretty nice. People (not homeless) would come up to us all excited about what we were doing and stuff, and then ask about how to get one of our sweatshirts. When we told them they had to be in the program, they got all pissy and refused to volunteer anymore.
