She uses lots of different sizes and types of paper and writes by hand.

Notebook work is still very important to me in order to conceptualize things - I have to draw a lot of maps and arrows to understand what I want to do. I haven't got a chance to look at the first thing, but I did skim the second an it was, FWIW, quite useful.
