[A little dog is laying down at the side of a street with a great air of sadness. Why does he seem so down? Well, there's this bright red ball sitting just beside his muzzle, and it's not moving. A ball that isn't thrown isn't fun at all. So he'll just lay here and give sad eyes at people until they play with him

[Well here's a young girl passing by when she notices the little doggy, just laying there and looking pretty down about something. Curious, she'll approach the dog.]

Hey there little guy. Everything all right? [She'll notice the ball momentarily.] You want someone to play ball with you?

[Wishbone instantly brightens and jumps to his feet.]

I would like that a lot!

[He barks and wags his tail in anticipation.]

Ok-... [...this dog just talked. Long pause.]

[He barks happily and jumps from paw to paw.]

I can get it no matter how far you throw it!

[His talking snapped her back to her sense.] Oh. Oh! Right!

Fetch! [And she throws it a pretty good distance, just down the street they were on.]

[Wishbone immediately leaps after it. He never takes his eyes off the ball as it arcs high over ahead and hits the ground, once, twice... The third time it bounces, he springs up and catches it before landing neatly on his paws. He walks back to her with his chest thrown out, and damn does he look intensely pleased with himself.]

[Yui smiles cheerfully and pats Wishbone on the head for a job well done when he returns.]

Good boy! Do you want me to throw it again?

[Wishbone barks gleefully and does a flip for her entertainment.]

[Oh, he should probably do introductions.]

[Her face lifted when he did a flip. Man, you are the coolest dog she's ever met.]

I'm Yui, it's very nice to meet you, Wishbone!

[She takes the ball from him.] Are you ready?

[It's always nice to make new friends! Wishbone barks gleefully and runs a few steps backwards in anticipation of the throw.]
