So, my mom called me tonight to tell me that she volunteered me to help with the efforts to recall Gov. Rick Snyder.  Which is cool.  I mean, I was looking forward to having my summer off other than writing fanfic and cleaning my brother's house, but it'll be nice to have something more constructive to do, and it's great that my mom is getting

Yikes. Did you get more information as to what this position would exactly entail? Hope it doesn't take your time away from some relaxation and fic'cing. (Yeah, yeah, priorities.)

Not yet; I'm not really going to worry about it until I get home. And if it's more than I can handle, I'll just have to admit that.

But I'll definitely be taking the time to sleep and to write.

Sounds like an interesting summer gig. But yeah, I hope they're not expecting you to do management/admin-type duties when you don't have that experience. You deserve a break and need that time to chill out however you choose.

It should be fun so long as everyone keeps their expectations of me in check. But, yeah, it better not turn into, like, an actusl job, because I've got sleep to catch up on.
