- Films - saw 'Batman: The Dark Knight Rises' last Tuesday, and 'Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter' the Tuesday before (my cinema runs a £3 deal on Tuesdays).  'Abraham' was alright - I wouldn't necessarily have picked it, but it wasn't bad, although a bit creepier than I would ideally like in a film.  'Batman' was stunning, even for someone like me

I loved how very LOTR-themed it was in the beginning. Well, it wasn't since it just focused on Britain's past, but the setting sure reminded me of Rings several times.

Also loved that children's literature bit and the Mr. Bean part. And it had Kenneth Brannagh - great opening ceremony :)
