So I was getting all settled into bed last night when Jason called from downstairs, "Did you see who's on the cover of Bust this month?!" I think my SiL has an article in Bust this month ... but I can't, for the life of me, remember what it's about (just that it isn't a feature). Her name is Jenny Rose Ryan, so -- yeah; that's my plug.

I think I've mentioned it before, but if you happen to find yourself in Minneapolis next December for the No-Coast Craft-o-Rama, you will have a place to stay!

That to me would be an indicator that I've "made it" as a writer - to write for Bust. I'm checking it out immediately when I get home. That's awesome.

And pending whether one or more of these craft fairs go well, I'm still taking you up on your offer for a place to stay! I've got to keep my eyes peeled for when the applications are available.

oh em gee, i love middlesex. it took years (okay, a couple of months) for me to get through but i was so glad i finished it.

...good luck with the craft fair(s)! doing one of those is my greatest crafty aspiration. :D
