The internet should be accessible using a pentium one with hardly any ram (I don't know much about ram), or maybe even a 386 or 486. Everything should be text. Images are ugly and messy. The same with code. I'm not sure what this would mean, but you know, Java and html can be so messy, with all their image and colour capabilities and pre-formed pieces of code that lie around and this and that. Nothing is quite simple enough.

I'm so happy to hear from you ... yes, your blog is as I wish mine was. By the way, have you ever seen 'Swept Away', the Madonna/Guy Ritchie movie?

You can turn off automatic-loading of images and Java in your web browser. This is how I used the internet in 1994 on a 386 with a 7200 modem. Those were the days. There was no adverts and no spam. And people drew pictures with lines and dots and letters and numbers and punctuation.

Sometimes I like to go on the web archive and look at the sites I used in 1995. It was kinda good when the internet was just for nerds.

Yeah, sometimes I miss the internet circa 1995. Pictures were such a novelty.
