APARTMENT!

I think I have an apartment! After looking at 4 apartments in 2 days (harder than it sounds with the crazy metro), I went with the second one. Since I'm doing the magazine workshop now, I'll have to wait until Saturday, but yay! Apartment!

Its in Astoria (about 45 minutes from midtown manhattan), a 2 bedroom apartment, with a decent sized bedroom (and I'm subletting, rather than leasing). The other roommate is rarely home (asst. on tv and films, on set). The neighborhood is mostly Greek families. I found it on Craigslist, emailed the guy, visited it, and heard back from him the next day while I was out looking at other places. I'm meeting him tomorrow 1/2 way and giving over the check.

Should we have a contract or something?
