Who knows why. When I worked at 7-11 I had guys I wouldn't date if they were the last dick to sit and spin on in the world ask me out. I tell them I'm married, and they say "so?" Gah.

Your crackfic was okay. I've been so busy the last few days, I barely remember my own name half the time. It wasn't too bad, but a good look over would help it some. And one must always keep crackfic characters in character as much as possible.

But with the fic...Urgh i tried. Was it Draco? i tried to make him still snobby Malfoy-ish but he had to not know that it was the sun -_-. I'm not as good as i wish i was am i.

From my perspective (and I'm no JKR), it seemed like Draco was being more dumb then silly. Crackfic is mostly taking the most extravagant thing in the canon/fanon, and exaggerating it. Like I do with Draco's Diary. He still talks like Draco, but do you really think Lucius spanks him? Or he's that dense he couldn't tell people were telling him someone's pregnant?

Of course not. But I take those typical "blond" stereotypes and over exaggerate it with Draco, but still try to keep him IC.

Your fic wasn't bad. It just takes a lot of practice. I should point you to some of my earlier forays into fanfiction. I think I was unofficially banned from the Trek fandom due to my screw ups. *hug* Don't let one bad example get you down. Keep at it. You keep going, and going and going. Practice will get you there. =)
