The bruises drama is so odd.
I mean, yeah, he's a vampire, yeah, he's a very recent ex-virgin... BUT, I think it's common knowledge that sex does come with bruises and scratches and bites and stuff at times and that this adds to the fun ... You can't live for over a century and have the ability to read minds and not know that.

Thats exactly what I was thinking.

I guess Carlisle and Emmett left that part out of their powerpoint presentations. They probably thought he was to fragile to be subjected to such things.

Haha, I loved that. And this: his impatience with Bella questioning him about why he "decided" to bite the pillows. Made me think of Edward as all wild and out of control and writhing with passion and lust himself, hahaa.

Sawoon about the island.

And I agree that it is completely typical Edward to be all emo after the whole ordeal and is like no more sex woman. (ANGST ANGST ANGST). What cracks me up every time sex comes up in the novel (lol, no pun intended), is how the roles are reversed. The girl is the sex fiend and trying to pressure the guy into. Maybe he just isn't ready, Bella. LOl. And I agree about the pillows. Pretty much one of the best lines in the whole series. I
