Rachal & Paul. Really felt for poor Jake. I've always hated Paul. As my mother used to say, he's all mouth, no trousers. Loser. Did poor Jake really need another problem in his life?

Jake spoiling for a fight was very in character. It's a bit too bitter for him though. I like nice Jake better, Bella's friend. This jake is too hormonal. He needs to grow a pair and accept Bella made an informed decision. Thats Bella's fault, not Edwards.

I thought Sam was rather passive. It is in character for him to be in controle, level headed and think things through, but considering what comes next, not in character for this book, in hindsight.

The treaty has almost certainly been broken, but lets not start a fight though, hey.

Then, the treaty hasnt been broken, but what the hell, lets wipe this unknown baby out along with every vamp we can.

Very odd.

i havent had time to reread a thing, i fail big, but i can't let this pass

I love this two so much. I know some people hate the whole impriting thing as well as the whole kid/teen problem. But i just can't stop finding them completely adorable.

I also love that i didn't find Claire way of talking weird, i may be wrong here given i do not hear babies talk in english normally, but it seemed pretty ok.

Another thing, the whole princess thing was hilarious, and the Quil/Jake interaction was complete love. And i found the princess thing nicely done, like... comedic but not overdone, if that makes sense LOL.

And now i'll shut up.

i had to send twice cause i fail at coding too

I think the imprinting thing is nice. I mean it is a little weird that you don't have a choice in the matter, but the way your whole world revolves around each other and that complete connection is nice. Who wants to fight that? I think Claire is cute, and at first I thought it was creepy, but then as I thought about it I thought it was really nice. I mean if I can deal with a 100 year old vampire dating a 17 year old human, I think I can deal with this too, lol.

And I just have to say I love Leah. I mean I know a lot of people think she is a bitch, and she kind of is, but man I admire her strength and guts. I can only hope that if I was screwed over as badly as she that I have half the courage to continue on as she does.

Claire was sooo cute! I loved her and Quil's interaction :)

By the way, I love the name of this chapter - and of all the chapters in Jacob's book.

Seriously. The chapter names are awesome. They are so Jacob, lol. I like how it distinguishes the different narrations.

I thought Claire's speaking was perfect for a 2 year old, and her insistance and everything just reminded me of my favorite little baby!friend. I also liked the glimpse of Claire and Quil, because it put truth behind Jacob's description of what it means to be imprinted even to an infant, that Quil will simply be whatever she needs him to be.

you know, reading this throuh a second time, I'm finding jacob's section nicely written and a cleaner voice than bella's, and a whole story from his pov wouldn't be bad, I found myself liking the pack stuff. And plus, all the imprinting stuff is a fabulous read.
