The key is not to have an interesting life, but tell it in an interesting way. Take for instance, when my mother peed in the garbage can in my room and left it there for me to find 2 weeks later. I could completely botch the story by telling it like that, yet make the time she gave me a dried up frog she found on the ground sound like the best thing ever.

I always found pointless documentation helped. Pictures or notes or little things that force you to remember.

Wow, someone else who also a)loves writing and b) READ RUNNING WITH SCISSORS!! Have you read the "sequel" titled Dry. Its amazing. I think you know a lot of people I do...I would totally be willing to let you borrow it if you wanted. Have you read The Perks of Being a Wallflower? That one is by Stephen Chbosky..also amazing. Its spans the array of human emotions between the lime green colored cover. Read it! hahaha

Actually, I had someone lend me a copy of Dry a few years ago. It was a special advanced version that came out before the general release. At the time I didn't realize how cool that was. But I read it before it hit the shelves.

I haven't read the Wallflower one though.
