♞ ABOUT
They're not exactly supernatural creatures, but he can use them to protect. Therefore, he trains. It's really as simple as that. However, he generally keeps the smaller and more manageable pokemon out of their pokeballs because he thinks summoning them by throwing pokeballs is kind of stupid (and he constantly totes Watanuki 2 the Magikarp around in a bucket regardless of circumstances. this is probably his sense of humour coming into play). On average his pokemon gain about four levels a week depending on time and availability, but he's pretty consistent with his training methods.

dragonair. 'suzu'
Affectionate little thing with a penchant for snuggling with his arm. He's more or less gotten used to toting it around like a wriggly parrot. Despite the fact that Doumeki is more than capable of protecting himself, the dragonair is a yandere. Attack Doumeki and it will mess your shit up thank you very much.

gible. 'shun'
Hungriest thing, ever. The Gible likes to eat and she likes to eat a lot of... whatever she's eating. This makes her very compatible with Doumeki, who fully approves, and probably gives Watanuki no amount of headaches. Otherwise, she likes being pampered and enjoys headrubs.

Doumeki 2.0, seriously. He sort of appeared one day and decided that he would protect everyone, and that was that. Quiet, serious, with a latent sense of humour and far too stoic for his own good, he has a strong sense of responsibility and likes heckling Watanuki.

magikarp. 'watanuki 2'
Derpfish who likes staring soullessly at you. Doumeki's trained it to respond to 'Watanuki', where 'respond' means that it feels the compulsive need to splash around fervently until either Doumeki returns it to its pokemon or someone tosses it out the window. Is otherwise a very nice fish, though, if a bit on the idiotic side.

She's a gentleman, despite being entirely female. More than anything, she wants to be helpful, and thus she has a tendency to push her nose into things and mimic her owners. She's very good at fetching what's needed, and is very intelligent.

A bird with a quiet nature. Despite the irritating nature of its call, it enjoys spending its time in relative silence and peace. However, it is fairly irritable when provoked.

pidgeotto. 'name'
Dou fully intended to release the bird once his injuries were healed. However, the bird just kept on coming back for no apparent reason, and now... he's apparently here to stay. Possibly the world's most ill-tempered bird, he doesn't get along with anything and tends to make multiple attempts on maiming Doumeki in his sleep. Doumeki privately thinks that he's only sticking around for Watanuki's cooking.

HUNGRIER THAN THE GIBLE. Kind of a thoughtful pokemon, though. In exchange for food, he likes finding random things that other people have dropped and presenting them to his owners proudly. Kind of a derp, but but a kind-hearted one.
