Hey, I read your LJ.snow_n_bigbyFebruary 16 2006, 22:45:04 UTC
I guess it's a little hard to comment on things you don't really know about. I know next to nothing about Japanese culture or anything, and what do you say to personal stuff that's written?
People probably read my rubbish on my LJ, and I don't get that many replies. Heck - I even gave all of you guys (on my friends list) a chance to vote for what I should spend my soon to be extra $6 on - and zip. nada. Except for Owen - he replied. One person out of at least 5 friends.
It can get kinda depressing, but it's still nice to vent every now and again.
Anyway, don't give up on your LJ - people do read it, and people do care.

Ah, yeah, sorry about the depths of night random depressed rant. I'm not abandoning LJ, for exactly the reason you gave. It's nice to vent every now and then. At the time, the best thing I needed to do was get off the computer at frickin 3 in the morning or so

I read my friends pages maybe once a week, more if I have time. It is bothersome and tiresome to continue going back, but sometimes you get good stuff on there too.
I keep a LiveJournal for several reasons, some of which you may or may not find helpful:
a) Venting purposes b) Creative purposes. I like playing with my Paintshop Pro, and no-one seems to notice, but it's nice to just have it out there on the off chance that somone does read it c) To keep up on information happening with certain interests d) To let my friends and family know what I'm up to (since I'm far from both)
There isn't much point to keeping an LJ beyond the fact that it's something enjoyable, and every now and again you find like-minded people who are interested in you and your same interests.
