I <3 my... Diva Cup!
So... HOORAY! Some ladies in my program were like "You have to check out Diva Cup." Apparently it's kind of a big deal with folks who go overseas. What with the whole either somebody your sending you sanitary items or.... your not having any. Enter ...Diva Cup! You only have to get a new one like, once every year.
Feminine hygiene products are expensive, yo. Not having to use as many? A good thing.
Some people are weirded out or have religious or other issues with using Diva Cup, (or one of the many, many other cups out there....) that's cool. Just as an FYI, there's all kinds of other products out there, people!
There's Glad Rags, Party in my Pants (though I am not 100% sold on this product, I think the lining might be PVC...), a whole bunch more.
Don't feel constrained to the bleached crap you see on tv! Do you know what byproducts are produced when protein comes in contact with bleach? Is that something you want to expose yourself to, 6+ days out of 28? And forget about products that use the the junk they put in astronaut panties (and old people diapers)... great for urine. Awful for lady parts!
I feel like saving money, reducing waste, and reducing safety concerns/infection risks all at the same time? Are a pretty big deal. Public-posted.
