I hate that I dont write as much as I used to. Its considerably better than last year, obviously but it still gets to me. I told myself last semester (and most of this one) that it was because I was too busy with school and already write a lot. This isnt exactly true; Ive found myself spending way too much time watching tv. I really do enjoy it in ( Read more... )

haha I was sooooo happy last year when I discovered Are you Afraid of the Dark on youtube...I've watched pretty much everything they have up there, My favorite episode is "The Tale of the Pinball Wizard" and anything with Sardo
"no Mr. accent on the Do"

they even have episodes of the newer version of the show when they tried to bring it back, they're bad but they're pretty funny to watch

and they have the full-length film they made, also bad but really cool to watch

okay I've gone on long enought about AYAOTD but ummmm yeah let's just say I'm a fan :P

miss ya, bye

Yes! Definately! Except no ice skating, ever since Elizabeth Durham's birthday in like 2nd grade im scared for life! You have to come see my place sometime, I might have some kind of get together, im not sure. And then theres Girls Night in, too. It'll be grand.

hahah, I'm one of those people about TV. it's not so much the commercials but the content within the shows. not that I think it'll ruin us, just that the world (and especially our culture) would overall be a better place sans time and money spent on television.

as for books, go on amazon and buy the most obscure books ever for a dollar a piece. can't beat that and you don't even have to go anywhere.

I know its not just commercials, and I agree people do spend too much time and money. Like I said, Im aware of the harms and I dont let the media manipulate me. I just dont think watching a couple weekly sitcoms or dramas to let you relax and not worry about your world for a while is bad. And I hate getting grief from my friends about it. I had a lot of stress, as Im sure you do, this is just one of several ways I wind down.

Also, I usually dont watch as much but Im having so much trouble finding a book I can get into. I will try the amazon thing, but I doubt "Cunt" or any other books Id want would be cheap. I wouldnt want to chance buying a book I know nothing about just because of how picky Ive been.

it's 8 bucks on amazon which is actually expensive for their used section, but it beats the list price of fourteen dollars. I'm telling you, it has any book for cheaper than any bookstore. I just got a fourteen dollar book for a dollar, a pretty obscure 20 dollar book for a dollar and an obscure reference guide for fourteen dollars. and you can flip through the books usually. plus if money's an issue, you could always cancel your cable and dvr and buy pricey books, thus solving two problems at once ;)
