Okay, so for the record, before I begin this rant, I'm not that old. Only 24 which, I think, still leaves me in the youthful range of the age spectrum. But what the hell is going on with these fashion trends? I should get this, right? Last spring I was amused every time I saw a girl walk by in a tunic with a skirt and then pants on underneath

For the record, ahem, my fuzzy boots are only calf-length, and they're only faux-fur trimmed. They are far from the UGG/mukluk appearance. And I typically wear them with other warm winter clothing. Like pants.

The trend I just don't get is those ruffly skirts. Saw a chick riding a bike wearing a skirt that couldn't have been more than 12" from the waistline to the hem. Hoookay.
