I have sold my House - I accepted an offer this evening for £5,000 less than the asking price and within a few weeks will be homeless (though rich) I've spent the last hour e-mailing estate agents trying to arrange viewings. The one I really like is half of a chapel that is in the process of being converted - There is an outbuilding with 2 rooms

Congratulations. It is always wonderful to have that signed contract on a house. The new one looks awesome and you surely won't lose any money on the investment. A few old churches have been turned into houses here, too, and I like them but I wonder if people come to pray when one is away. I think it might be a little weird living in one. I can just see a big pot of blooming flowers by the entrance. Good luck!

I can see lots of plants in tubs and hanging baskets - all connected to an automatic watering system. The real joy is that I will have no mortgage.
