It's hot and people are short-tempered, I guess.

This incident ended with just symbolic retaliation (a few bombs were dropped on some storage places or something), and a lot of rhetoric on both sides.

We'll see what happens by summer.

On a whole different level, your thing there seems to me a bit like our May riots. Pointless, hurtful and STUPID. Makes one despair about humanity as a whole. Or at least the male half :-p.

I really wonder if we'll see at least some pockets of peace in the near and middle east during our lifetimes...

So sad.
