Just some things I want to point out, and I think most fall under "unpopular opinion," so beware!

If anyone's gonna get him to give it up, it's Caroline.
Maybe he doesn't have to give it up. Klaus is stuck in Elena's house by Bonnie's spell. He can't go anywhere. There's only so many places you can hide a three-foot piece of metal.

YES TO ALL OF THIS.

Sometimes, I see all these posts on Tumblr about how Delena is TRUE LOVE or Stelena is TRUE LOVE or Klaroline is TRUE LOVE and and it kinda freaks me out because DO YOU GUYS ACTUALLY WATCH THE SHOW.

I know Klaus and the Originals are marketed as the bad guys, while we're supposed to buy Damon/Elena/Stefan as the good guys, but honestly? I don't buy that either of them is better or worse than the other.

Also: "The real problem comes in when this abuse/power play is not acknowledged as such, or when there's a spin to it that makes it seem okay." SO TRUE. And I think that is probably the BIGGEST issue I have with this show.

I totally agree with you about good guys and bad guys. I actually thought it was interesting that Stefan and Caroline talked about this a few episodes back, because I think it was the first time the show put things in perspective that way. And then they did it again with Rebekah telling Stefan everything she was put through. There might be hope yet?

If you're gonna buy abusive relationships, then own up to it! And of course that nobody did abuse with a twist the way Gossip Girl did. It's disturbing how many people buy those relationships as true love.

Hey!!!! I'm gonna commit to check LJ on Fridays, just to see your TVD posts and keep up with you :D

LMAO! There's such a big mess around Tumblr because some people are loving Katherine's return, while others are super upset cause she killed Jeremy.

I'm just mourning Kat/Matt, cause since she killed his boo, so I don't think that has a future now. Although Damon also killed Jeremy a while back, and that didn't stop Elena...
