[As John continues to walk in his straight line path, he may notice the scenery beginning to repeat itself. He may also notice that the first time he re-passes by his house, there is a young girl with violet hair sitting on the front steps. She will be there every time he loops back around indefinitely.]

[ John noticed, all right. He saw the girl on the steps of his front porch, but at first, he didn't even remember that was his house. He kept on walking, and when he passed the same girl for the third time, he decided it was about time to give it up.
He approached the young girl, tired and confused, and realized the 751 near the house's front door was familiar as well. It was now that he realized this was his house. Did that mean he was walking in circles? He knew he couldn't have been walking in circles... he was just walking in a straight line. John had mishandled a lot of situations in his life, he was more then aware, but he was pretty sure he could handle walking in a straight line.
He passed the pickett gate, then looked at the girl, wiping the sweat from the back of his neck. ]
... can I help ya, miss?
[ There had to be some reason this girl was in front of his house, after all. ]
