It's such a shame that bitching is so easy to do. Moreso, it even makes me feel good.

But I haven't been bitching. We have a house war right now. Although I am immune. Whoo.

It's a shame because whoever is doing the bitching tends to have everyone else agree with them. I know I've done it before where I've seen someone and said, "Ooh, I know who ( Read more... )

Yay! It's Leo! Back on LJ! *does a little happy dance*

Bitching is a good way to vent, but it has to be carefully done, methinks. If done too often it can stir up all sorts of awful negative things. Hmm. I think you are right to stay out of it as much as you can. :)

I went to the Phoenix too, just recently. I quite enjoyed myself, chatted with everyone and didn't feel excluded at all despite my lack of gothicness. :)

Phoenix is fun! Although I haven't really been there. I think I might try and get a career in tattoos. Maybe? I don't know. Do you want to have coffee next time you're in Brisbane?

I'd love to have coffee next time I'm down Brisbane way, I'll let you know next time I'm in town. :)

Actually my first choice now is editing. Words are really the only thing I have much confidence in. Like I'm reading this book at the moment, which is surprisingly good, but on the back cover it says "...like an avenging shadow..." Avenging shadow? What the hell is that? A shadow that avenges? Pfft. That's not a real simile. It's not even a metaphor. It's just useless fluff. I hate fantasy writers and their penchant for using a hundred million adjectives in every sentence.
